Today is Ethan's 8th birthday and so I am going to write a little about him. Iv been thinking for a few days what I would write about Ethan, and so many ideas came to me that I really am having a hard time. He is such an all around great kid!! He even came a little over two weeks early so I missed all the super uncomfortable part of being pregnant, and had extra time to get my Christmas shopping done that I wasn't planning on:) He was a perfect baby, and toddler, and just keeps getting better!! He has always been so smart!! Even before he started school he would sit at the table while Addison did his homework and just watch him. He loves school and has a great group of friends. Him and my niece Lindsay are very close and have had the same teacher the last 2 years, it is so fun to watch them with their friends and hear from their teachers what great kids they are! One of the best things about Ethan is he wants to make everyone happy....especially me. I am having a hard time getting older so he tells everyone that I'm only 29(then quietly says my real age and says it makes me happy when he says I'm only 29) He loves to snuggle up and watch TV in bed with Adam, I knew he was having a hard time with Adam working nights when he came to me one night and asked me to go lay in bed and watch TV with him like dad does. He seems to know when I'm having a bad day and tries to make me smile. He is an AMAZING soccer player....he didn't want to play last season but I strongly encouraged him to and he did at the last minute, MAN IS HE GOOD!!! I hope he keeps with it:) I am so incredibly grateful for the great kid Ethan is!!! Our family wouldn't work without the great energy he brings to it!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH ETHAN!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
