I am really missing Tri-Cities today.....I happened to catch on the news this morning that it is in the 90s there today, while yet again here it is overcast and not very warm...supposedly it is going to be in the 70s today....WHOOOHOOO!!!! I do love it here in Chehalis for the most part but I miss all the things there is to do for fun in the summer in Kennewick. My absolute favorite thing was all the swimming pools!! And it was super cheap to take the kids. I'm not to proud to admit there were days when the boys and I would search the house for quarters to go swimming:) Each pool was a little different, Pasco's pool had a water slide and diving board, Richlands pool had the best kiddie pool and diving boards and actually I don't think we ever made it to Kennewicks pool, but it was there if we wanted to use it. The times kind of stair stepped each other so if you missed the time at one pool you could go to another....If you didn't feel like swimming there is an awesome spray park by the play ground of dreams, that also has a frisbee golf course that is so much fun, we love to play and the kids like it too. Always a bonus!! The amount of parks in the Tri-Cities is amazing too....The only bad thing is my boys always seemed to want to go to different ones, there were days when we would go to a couple different parks in one day just to make them all happy. Another of my favorite things was the free movie days at the movie theater, they would play movies that were already out on DVD and we really liked to go. I still keep in contact with a few of my friends there and seeing their pictures of all the fun they are having this summer without me makes me sad, especially when I have to say for the thousandth time.....Turn the TV off, quite fighting with your brother, no we aren't doing anything today, again, sorry guys its to cold to go to the lake today, and my favorite.....No we cant move back, dads job is here:( So now that Iv gotten that off my chest can we PLEASE have the warm sunny weather back??? ASAP:)
